It all started with a dream to start my own food truck business. To push my dream even further I was selected to compete on the Food Network's Great Food Truck Race Holiday Hustle in November 2019. This experience gave my wife and me the courage to leap.
After the show, we went to work developing our business plan, securing funding and finding a truck. This has all been made possible by a group of wonderful supporters who believe in me and our dream.
AND JUST LIKE THAT THIS DREAM IS BECOMING A REALITY. The truck is complete and ready to Rock N Roll. We look forward to being up and running in March 2020. We can't wait to see you at the Amp on Wheels.
Chef Matt’s passion for the culinary arts began at the age of 17 while receiving treatments for cancer. Chef Matt chose to attend the Mid-West Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State to train and learn the culinary arts. While at Mid-West Culinary Institute he excelled in the culinary courses. Chef Matt has worked in many capacities in the food industry. Over the past 17+ years, Chef Matt has continued to expand, learn and grow his culinary talent. He is a passionate, talented and creative chef. He has provided extraordinary meals for many private catering events including retirement dinners, birthday parties, Christmas parties/dinners, and business events to name a few. Chef Matt’s dishes have been enjoyed by folks of all ages from children at a summer camp to seniors who live in a retirement community. Chef Matt has successfully competed in many culinary competitions and most recently competed in the Food Network's Great Food Truck Race Holiday Hustle. Chef Matt’s strong work ethic and his desire to provide creative and amazing food/dishes for everyone to enjoy are simply mouth-watering.
